At Kincraig Nursery we understand the importance, for you as parents and carers, in making the right choice about which nursery to send your child to. You need to feel rest assured that your child is being well looked after, in a safe and secure environment. Furthermore, you will want your child to grow and learn in a stimulating setting, which will build the secure foundations needed for future learning.

We aim to provide the perfect solution to any parent or carer looking for childcare by understanding both the child’s and your needs. Partnership with parents and carers is paramount. You are your child’s first and foremost educators and we believe that by continually working in partnership with parents and carers we will have a positive impact on a child’s development and learning.

The Nursery is bright and colourful, and is carefully resourced with toys and equipment which ensure that all children, from birth to 4 years, are given opportunities to learn and develop across all the areas embedded within the Early Years Foundation Stage 2021.

Our Nursery has been carefully designed to encompass the 7 areas of learning within the environment, both indoors and outdoors. It is the role of the Nursery Team to ensure that all children are playing and exploring, that they are being active learners, and that they are given the opportunities to be creative and think critically. By doing this, staff can then use the evidence from observations to assess effectively, monitor and then enhance the children’s learning and development further through planning specific activities.

Kincraig Nursery is led and managed by an Early Years Professional who oversees the day to day running, leads practice by ensuring policy and procedures are adhered to and that children are given the best possible opportunities. We also take pride in having an experienced Early Years Teacher who ensures that the pre-school children are well equipped and ready for school. Furthermore, our early years practitioners act as key workers for children under the age of 3, and are responsible for making sure they are given a stimulating start which is delivered in a fun and exciting way. Together we aim to provide an excellent service that gives quality care and appropriate educational experiences for your children. This means that children are happy and enjoy coming to Nursery and settle quickly within a well organised and inclusive setting.
