Year 6 have worked incredibly hard this term, showing great determination, resilience and maturity as they prepared for their SATs assessments. The children approached their revision with a positive attitude, focusing on building their confidence and securing the key skills they have developed throughout their time at primary school. We are extremely proud of their effort, commitment and perseverance.
During SATs week, pupils demonstrated excellent focus and resilience, giving their very best in every test. Their hard work and positive mindset throughout this period were a credit to themselves, their families and the school.
To celebrate the end of SATs week, Year 6 enjoyed a well-earned Friday breakfast, spending time together relaxing, socialising and celebrating their achievements. It was a lovely opportunity for the children to unwind and enjoy time as a year group after a busy and demanding week.
The children also took part in a Mexican Theme Day, where they explored Mexican culture through a range of engaging activities. They enjoyed learning about traditions, music and celebrations, and had the opportunity to try a variety of Mexican-inspired foods. The day provided a fun and memorable experience that broadened their cultural understanding and brought their learning to life.
Overall, Year 6 have had a successful and memorable term, demonstrating resilience, enthusiasm and a real sense of achievement as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
