Toddlers

Over the Autumn term, the toddles explored the topic ‘Into the Woods’.
We looked at a range of stories that gave us some understanding of the autumn season, the children enjoyed looking at how the trees were changing and how the leaves were dropping and so we went on a leaf hunt around the school grounds, they have looked at different woodland animals and have made their very own crafts for the display boards around the room. The toddlers have looked into day/night which linked to nocturnal animals and enjoyed lots of math with the story ‘Aarrrrghhhhh spider’. Then we had Halloween where the children enjoyed lots of messy activities from pumpkin carving to slime play.
