Why I became involved as a governor of Kincraig Primary School:

It is almost 20 years since I first walked through the doors of Kincraig Primary School to take up the role as Learning Mentor that proceeded to develop into Family Support and the Coordination of Extended Services for the school.  When the Children’s Centre was added to the school in 2007, I was fortunate to be appointed as the manager and continued to work for many years bringing services into the community that integrated with school life until it sadly closed in 2019.   Throughout my time at Kincraig Primary School and Children’s Centre I worked alongside a team of people who shared my passion to improve life chances for children by breaking down barriers to learning and supporting them to be the best they could be in a happy, caring, and safe environment.

I feel privileged to have been appointed as a Governor for a school that I hold dearly and bring my experience to the role with the same commitment and passion.
